We’re excited to welcome Andrea to the Pediatric Neuromodulation Lab as a Visiting Researcher.

Andrea joins us from Brazil, where she is pursuing a PhD in Physical Therapy at Universidade Cidade de São Paulo (UNICID), focusing on motor control and neuroscience. Andrea is a physical therapist with more than 10 years of experience in pediatric rehabilitation. In the lab, Andrea will be working on analyzing brain connectivity assessments in children with early brain injuries. Andrea is excited to work with Dr. Gillick and the PNL team to learn more about neuromodulation and pediatric rehab.

Outside of the lab, Andrea enjoys visiting parks, the zoo, and trying different restaurants and cafés. She is especially looking forward to exploring the outdoors around Madison, discovering new trails, and going hiking.
