Karl Welbes

Biography

About me: I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2022 with a B.S. in Rehabilitation Science and am a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy student at UW-Madison. I have experience working in several areas of physical therapy such as neurorehabilitation, pediatrics, and orthopedics and am currently undecided on which track I plan to follow. What motivates me: I greatly enjoy working with patients throughout their therapeutic experience and seeing their growth over time. I desire to learn more about providing effective care to a variety of populations including pediatrics, which strengthens my interest in this research. I look forward to having the opportunity to assist in research that can make an impact on the lives of many.
