Catarina Saiote, PhD

About me: I am a researcher with over a decade experience in clinical neuroscience. I have an master’s degree in biomedical engineering and obtained my doctorate in systems neuroscience, combining non-invasive brain stimulation and magnetic resonance imaging to study behavioral outcomes. My research focuses on developing approaches to assess disease progression and rehabilitation outcomes in neurological disorders.

What motivates me: I am motivated to bridge new engineering and technological developments in neuromodulation, neuroimaging and electrophysiology with improved clinical applications. I value working in a collaborative environment with trainees and professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise, to make the best research happen.
