Gwendolyn Nytes

About me: I graduated from UW-Madison in 2020 with a B.S. in Biology and am currently a first year medical student here. While I’m undecided on what I hope to pursue for residency, pediatrics or a pediatric subspecialty is high on my list. I am also part of the rural health program, and hope to provide care for more rural populations throughout my career.

What Motivates Me: I am excited to be involved in research that helps to improve the quality of life for children with cerebral palsy, and I am especially excited to see how these cutting edge technologies can benefit patients in more rural locations as well. I have worked with children for a while and always admire their resilience; I’m looking forward to learning more about neuroplasticity and recovery and how these technologies help children and their families reach their goals.
