Marissa Galli

About me: I earned a degree in Neurobiology from the University of Wisconsin in 2018 and am currently a first-year medical student at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. After medical school, I hope to complete a residency in either general surgery with a pediatric surgical fellowship or in pediatrics with a neonatology fellowship.

What motivates me: I love being part of something that has the potential to improve the lives of countless patients. I believe that by being a member of the Gillick Lab, I will be able to be a part of research that has the ability to drastically improve the long-term effects of perinatal strokes for patients and their families.
