Biography

About me: I graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN in 2024 with a degree in Kinesiology, where I was also a member of the football team. My passion for research developed during my senior year, when I assisted with three different studies and had the opportunity to present on analgesia and anxiety levels in division III athletes at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. I now bring that same dedication and curiosity to this team, with a strong passion for pediatric healthcare and a commitment to improving children’s quality of life. Currently, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy student here at Madison. What Motivates me: One of the most formative experiences in my physical therapy journey was shadowing a pediatric physical therapist for a month in San Antonio, Texas. During this time, I discovered my ability to build meaningful connections with young patients and found great fulfillment in assisting with their motivation and engagement during treatments. What began as an exploratory field experience quickly grew into a passion, ultimately shaping my decision to pursue a career in pediatric physical therapy. Since then, I have been committed to making a lasting impact on children’s lives and contributing to their overall quality of life.
