About me: I have over a decade of professional experience in clinical neuroscience research, and I currently provide regulatory support to research teams in the Department of Pediatrics. I have worked in a variety of research roles, ranging from teaching mindfulness meditation to combat veterans with PTSD to writing study consent forms about COVID-19 testing methods in children. I help ensure that research is conducted in a way that respects and protects study participants.
What motivates me: I like to help people! I especially enjoy working on research teams with colleagues who are passionate about helping children and families. I think it’s interesting and exciting to see how research can lead to meaningful discoveries and life-changing therapies, and it’s a joy to see study participants feel empowered by their contributions along the way.
