About Me:  I have AB and MA degrees in English Literature, and completed all but dissertation for the PhD. I write and edit for various non-profit organizations.

What motivates me: I’ve always loved reading for its ability to show us both other lives and other views of our own lives. And I’ve come to love writing (including editing) for the way it challenges and complements thinking—we don’t express ideas clearly until we’ve carefully refined them, and sometimes a struggle with the writing reveals an unresolved problem with that thought that just refuses to go onto the page.

Collaborating with Bernadette and her team allows me to see into the lives of children, families, healers and researchers, all doing valuable work that I would otherwise know nothing about.  I feel privileged to have a share in their effort.
