About Me: I am an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an interest in clinical
neuroscience and pediatric research. I am especially interested in neuroplasticity, brain
recovery, development of the brain, and basal ganglion disorders. I am passionate about
research to improve clinical care for children. The Pediatric Neuromodulation Lab has given me
the opportunity to learn about hospital-based research and contribute to studies focused on
cortical plasticity and motor recovery. Outside of academics, I love to sing in my acapella group,
do meditation yoga, and other activities that keep me curious about life.
What motivates me: I am motivated by research aimed at improving the quality of life for disabled children. Early
intervention can have such a long lasting impact as children develop, and for that reason I am
especially passionate about pediatric neuroscience research. There is nothing more touching to
me than the resilience and hope children radiate, and I find it deeply meaningful and fulfilling to
be a part of that journey and to contribute in research that supports them. Being involved in
pediatric neuroscience research motivates me to explore my passions and pursue a career
dedicated to caring for children.
